Lanolin
Lanolin is a natural, organic and renewable waxy substance extracted from sheep's wool that has been used for medicinal and cosmetic purposes since ancient times. Its composition is very close to human skin fat and is therefore very well tolerated by the skin. It forms a protective layer on the skin which is easy to spread, absorb and allows the skin to breathe. It is not an allergen and is therefore suitable for even the most sensitive baby skin. In kii-baa® organic we use only ultra pure grade lanolin, obtained by an exclusive refining process. Because we care not only about the purity of our raw materials, but also about the process of sourcing them, we have chosen a German lanolin supplier for our cooperation who has met our high requirements for expertise, supply chain transparency and high animal welfare standards. The origin of the wool is fully traceable and involves farmers who respect the Animal Welfare Act (1999).
